|
|
I'm trying to put a datatime fild in a report using the new Sun Report Builder.
The Date field shows (for today's date) as "1976"! and the time field shows as "Error in expression" or shws as a number when the fields are in page header. When they are in report header they print ok.
This is not good policy to release a new version just before OOoCon (or just before Oktoberfest ). The presure for the strict timeline is leading to buggy releases. |

mobi-doc:
I too, have noted the same 'opportunity' with the OpenOffice 2.3 Sun Report Builder
Opportunities include:- Cannot place date and / or time in Page Header, but it will work in Report Header
- Time in Report Header cannot be formatted . . . and . . . AM/PM format will NOT display
- Time in Report Header cannot display hours with 24 hour clock
- Ruler in Report Builder only in CM . . . no option to use inches et.al.
Therefore, please use the link below to 'report' these 'opportunities' ( ) to OpenOffice team.

I'm sorry, I don't have the time right now to decode every single date format error in Report Builder, and there must be so many of them.
Can someone else would try to do it and fill the issue, please?
Thanks. |
