We have just installed openoffice3.2 on a MacBook, but the online update screen does not show up in tools>>options..openoffice.org. The account has administrator priviledges on this device.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

I don't know when the update tool will be ready. You can't update the software itself, in any case - a full download is still required.

that being said, i am not sure how the online update tool will work for the X11 port. I would suspect, for a while at least, that the way to update the mac version will be simply download the new version.
