| I have a Vista laptop that has OpenOffice installed on it. When I try and print to my Brother laser printer it comes up garbled. This printer is connected to my Win XP computer and is shared on my network. I currently use MS Office XP on the XP computer. Is there some setting I have to enable/correct on the laptop to print documents correctly? |

Stupid question, but does the laptop have the CORRECT printer drivers installed? if it does, try doing an "Export to PDF" operation from Writer then using your laptop's PDF reader (i.e. Adobe Acrobat) to do the printing. If the latter mode works, then you may have to use this "roundabout method" to do your Laptop printing operations.
Hope this helps and good luck... _________________ I'm making perfect sense - you're just not keeping up! |

| Thanks for your reply, I fixed it by correcting the driver. |
