|
|
Hi,
I have a database in MS Access. I can export the reports I generate into an MS Word file, but not everything is exported: for example images are not included and coloured textboxes are exported without there coloured background and outlines. (I guess this comes because the report is exported as an rtf-file).
As I really need those layout-elements to be conserved in the wordprocessor-file, I was wondering if this is possible by using Base and f.ex. Writer? |

| Reports and forms are nothing but Writer documents, embedded in the Base document. |

| Do you mean by that that I can export indeed a report into a workable file, with all the layout-elements I want? |

| When you create reports and forms in Base you get Writer documents. When you create reports and forms in Access you get something which no other software in the world will ever be able to read. This is intended to be so. |
