Hello
About OO Impress
Anybody knows a trick for how to convert a PPS or PPT file into a video file, like AVI, MP4 or anything else?

| Please try a search--this has been discussed several times. Some possible solutions are mentioned. If you can't find something relevant, just ask here. |

I searched, but I need a presentation with animations in video. A screen capture doesn't work because my computer is too slow to show the presentation in OOO (actually it's because of that that I want to convert it to video) |

If your pc has a video out (like svideo) then you can run the presentation and record it with a second computer which needs to have a proper video card and software.
I did this once but was not quite happy with the resolution I got.

| Export your presentation to SWF (Export comand) then use any video to converter and chose your prefered type of video. Good luck. |
