Hi all
I just joined OOoForum.org as I'm downloading the OpenOffice images. I've been hearing a lot about OpenOffice. Now I think I'll try it.
Anyone can recommend some learning books and websites I can buy and browse?
I'm also a proficient Visual Basic for Applications writer. Does all the OpenOffice apps share an API standard and a programming language? I'm do a lot of this with Microsoft Office apps and I'll adopt OpenOffice if it has this ability as well.
Thanks all!

There is the official user guide, it's big so is split into separate chapters for download:

There are several languages you may use. StarBasic is the default macro language and is analogous to VBA. Python, BeanShell and JavaScript can also be used. Some versions also have VBA interoperability (to some level). _________________ Arch Linux
