Hi,
I've just updated to v2.3 and have major issues with the formula editor provided in the writer.
When I write the formula source code (like int_{-infinity}^infinity x dx) in the writer, select it and then transform it into a formula everything works fine, but when I later try to edit the formula it takes over 1.5 minutes (!) at full CPU-usage to open the formula again, even when I open the formula, then close it and open it again without doing anything in between it takes this long.
Maybe this is also related to the fact that my WinXP installation is about 2years old and grows more unstable every day but this problems didn't occur in v.2.0.2 so I guess it has to do something with OOo.
Is there any way to speed things up? I work 90% of my time using formulas and it's almost impossible to work like this.
I'm using a Sony Vaio with a Intel Pentium M740 (1.73 GHz) processor and 1GB RAM.
thanks already in advance,
mike |

MathType is a proprietary application and users have reported issues when including MathType formulas in Writer. _________________ Now on the EN user community forum |
