|
|
Hi,
I am new to Open Office-just downloaded it this week. I am thinking about moving our office users from Office 2004 (on Macs) to Open Office but the first problem I see is the lack of individual icons for calc, writer, etc. I'm sure that users that are so used to opening the individual programs like Excel, will grumble about having to go through an extra step or two.
Does anyone know if there are plans to add individual icons in some future release?
Thanks

Do you mean icons like these?
Those are in Windows, but OOo does have individual icons. Not sure if that is different for Mac users. _________________ WinXP Home SP2, OOo 2.3.0, Firefox 2, Thunderbird 2 |

That is exactly what I mean-any Mac users here that can tell me if these are available? |

I am happy there are icons, but what about alternate icons?
These are very dull, greyish. My only sense of loss from MSOffice to OO is the bright icons. |
