| This may be a stupid question but how can i remove hyperlinks from text I paste into scalc? I am copying text online and then pasting into scalc but even if I do paste special and select only text the hyperlinks remain. Deleting the url does not seem tot work either. |

OpenOffice automatically detects Links in copied text or if you just input http://www.laliluna.de
Deleting or removing of this links is not very obvious. Here are two solutions to this.
1)
Click with the right mouse button, choose Character from the context menu. Select the tab Hyperlink and delete the URL.
2)
Select the hyperlink text and open the menu Format then choose Default. All formats including the hyperlink are deleted.
I hope I could help, |

| Use the arrow keys to move into the cell and do Ctrl+M. |

JonhV, Thanks. It works by using Ctrl+M.
The reason that I can't follow peymanjahanbazi's suggestion because I don't have the same Context Menu. I installed OO 3.2 today but still don't have "hyperlink management" in the context. I suppose it comes from some extension. Thanks anyway. _________________ Wanwisa U. |

| It's just getting into the cell without triggering the hyperlink that's tricky. Once in the cell plain Format > Default should also be available (not right click, Format > Default). |

Not clear what is the (1) way (in using Calc)
But, (2) works. And, it's very easy.
Ctrl-M = Default Formatting
peymanjahanbazi, Thanks
