I've been using Open Office for about a year now, and because the organisations I work for use Microsoft, saving documents as Word 95 and Excel 95.
Suddenly, this week, Open Office has decided to save files without the .doc and .xls suffix. So I have a whole load of files with a bare file name and no way of telling what they are. (I know I can add the suffixes manually but that's not really the point.)
Anyone got any idea what's happening here? Everything else seems to be working as normal. And when I add the file suffixes manually, they display okay - it's just the suffix being missed out. |
