I used to use OpenOffice on my university's Windows computers until they banned all non-installed .exe's. At that time, I was using PortableApps version of OpenOffice. The university, though, has not banned the running of .jar files with java (java -jar *.jar). How can I run OpenOffice using this command? Where is the .jar file? If there is no .jar file, will the next release feature this?
Thank you,

There is no JAR file to start OOo.

I don't think so, because most of OOo's source code is written in C/C++.
