Go-OO 2.3 troubles

I downloaded and installed the OOOp extensions in the Go-00 2.3.0.4 version and found that when I tried to open the suite after I did this I got an error about there was a problem with the binary files and it had to close. I tried to uninstall the software and reinstall it and still got the same error message. I downloaded the Novell 2.1 version and found that it worked as it was supposed to. I installed star office 8 and have had no problems. Is there a way to get the 2.3.0.4 version to work because I really liked it and would like to use it again or should I wait for the next version to come out before trying to install the Go-OO version again. Any help would be appreciated with this problem. I am currently running Windows XP SP 2.
