Is it possible to create a small frame that re-occurs on every page in the same position?
I want to make a "thumb" index, a dark rectangle that bleeds into the edge of the page for each Chapter, so that when you look at the book pages edge-on, you can see a black mark in a different position for each chapter.

| You can anchor a frame to a paragrpah in the header or footer and the frame will appear wherever the header/footer appears. |

Clever. Good lateral thinking (or is that literal thinking)
