This niggling little problem must have an easy answer, but I haven't managed to find it after looking intermittently for months now.
I am running V2.2 in Win XP on an Optiplex 740 machine. I usually access my OO documents by double clicking on the file name in Windows Explorer or PowerDesk6. If there is no other OO document open, there is no problem - the document opens on the screen and I can view the file without further ado. However if there is a OO document already open, the new document opens underneath it and I then have to click the toolbar icon to get the newdocument on top. Surely there must be a way of having OO documents open straight away on top of other open documents without having to click on the toolbar? Can someone please tell me what it is?!! I find it immensely frustrating to not have a document open properly when you double-click the namelike this.
Many thanks, hugo |
