I have used Lotus Approach for years, but finally have started to use openOffice. In approach there was the ability to create the content of the database in different styles or templates. For example I have continuous preprinted stationary for invoicing and one could take the required fields from the database and position (in effect textboxes) where you needed them. E.g. place the address fields one under each other to fit in a window envelope Obviously all fields in the database are not need for an invoice. Once made you could go to the Approach file find the entries you wanted and then open them in the invoice style sheet you had created. I am sure it is a simple thing in OpenOffice, but have yet to work it out.

Thanks
