The possibility of making users' messaging coordinates available to other users of this site is definitely very positive. However, it's hard to not notice that in the Profile section of this site is missing the Jabber ID field.
OpenOffice.org should be committed to support open protocols even if they aren't directly related to itself. Sadly, I noticed there only fields for four proprietary messaging protocols.
