|
|
I am trying to save the mails I receive in my outlook to my access database (Iam Using Outlook 2003 and access 2003). I am able to capture all the attributes of the mail as body, subject, to, from , importance but I have to save the whole of the mail as on object.
I have created a table with field "OLE OBJECT" as the datatype. Right Now I have first save the mail manually to a physical location and then , click on the field in the database and manually insert the mail.
1. Click Insert
2. Click Object
3. Select "Create from File"
4. Browse to its location and select the necessay file to be inserted.
Is there any way to automate this so that we can directly insert teh mail to the access as an object.
Any help in this regard is appreciated.

You might be able to find some people to help you with this on this forum, but for the most part, this forum is designed to help users of OpenOffice.org, which is an alternative to Microsoft Office. Hence, there may not be too many Microsoft Office users hanging around that can help you with MS Outlook and MS Access. Just letting you know. _________________ Laugh at life or life will laugh at you. |
