|
|
Hi... I am new here.
My OS is XP. I have been using Open Office for nearly a year. Yesterday I downloaded its latest vesrion. But when I try to instal it, I keep getting the message that the installer file is either missing or corrupted. I am sure it is about the windows installer.
Since I am keen to switch over from MicroSoft, I do not wish to invest my money or time in MS prodts anymore. Is there anyway I can instal the OOO latest version without the XP installer?
Could any expert here help me please? |

| Have you checked the MD5SUM of the file you downloaded? That would give a good idea if the file is corrupted. I would suggest that is the first thing to try. |

There are portable versions of OO out there for download that don't require an install at all.
Check out http://portableapps.com/ |
