I removed Microsoft Office from my computer and using Openoffice now. I use quickbooks for my accounting. I have an option to "Export to Excel" in quick books for all my reports. Quickbooks launches Excel when I use this option and gives me the report in excel format. Now this exporting feature doesn't work since I have calc instead of excel.
How can I make in launch calc instead of excel? Any workarounds or tricks that I can use to fool quickbooks!!
Thanks

You may find an .ini file for Quick Books which defines Excel and Word by pointing to the executables. If so, you could insert the OO executables instead. Otherwise, you may have to use M$ Office. _________________ search forum by month |
