Copy of filtered data in Calc copies hidden cells

I have been having some trouble when copying filtered CALC data to put into a text document. When this data is copied all hidden cells are copied with it. How can I copy just the data displayed (short of copying the data cell by cell or row by row)

Works for me.
Set up header row and data
Select sheet, columns or array covering data
Autofilter
Make some selection using the filter
Select whole sheet content (click top left of grid) or columns (click column letter)
Edit Copy
Paste or Paste Special
