Hello
I am a new user in this forum, asking for your suggestion / advice
Recently we have implemented ERP in our organisation. Now we are not able to save fine in Text (Tab delimited) which is available in MS Excel. If we are saving file in CSV or TEXT mode it is not imported properly in ERP systems.
pl guide in the same.
regards

I'm not sure I understand your poll, but I voted for Text (Tab delimited), because that's what I think the post is about. Is that the question?
As to your question, I'm not an expert on OOo or anything, so there may be an easier way, but if worst comes to worst, you can always save as a .csv and then search and replace to put tabs in instead. |

You should be able to save as tab delimited , it is just a bit difficult to find
Try this
Save as > Select "Save AS Text CSV , give the file a name and then click okay . Keep going until Calc asks what delimiters you want and select 'Tab".
This works fine but is very illogical. I suspect that whoever developed this did not know that CSV stands for comma delimited values. _________________ jrkrideau

Thanks for the info. I was looking for it all over the place I agree it's very-very illogical. |
