I'd like to make a form with several query fields and buttons.
* The fields fill in parameters for a simple query to get a list of matching records which are displayed in a table.
* Then I'd like to have a set of fields that display other data from the records from the table. Fill in the fields for the record when you click on a table row.
Do we have a sample or a tutorial of a database that shows how to build a query with one parameter from a field on a form and then fill a table with the results of that query when a button is pressed.
Ultimately I'd like several fields, for example Title, Genre, Actor, Year with a query button for each.
I'm just looking for an example that will get me started to build a dvd movie database query form.
