The abbreviation i.e., meaning "that is to say" frequently includes the full-stops/periods after both the i and the e but even though I've added the combination to OOo's exceptions list, it continues to capitalise the first letter of the following word. Does anyone else here find that OOo sometimes seems to ignore the exceptions that they have given it? _________________ Win 7; OOo 3.2

Add it to Auto correct:
Tools > Auto correct> Replace tab
and then after the first use when you get the wavy line under it, use the context menu to add it to the dictionary.
Good Luck! |

| Forgot to say that you add it to auto correct as 'ie' in the 'Replace' box and i.e. in the 'With' box. |
