OO 2.4.1 Install problem

When I try to install 2.4.1, I get a dialog box which contains " Error 1714. The older version of Open Office.org 2.4 cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group. "

I have redownloaded OO2.4.1 repeatedly, I am logged on as Administrator & twice I have regedited everything containing "openoffice".

Java is up-to-date.

Any suggestions?

Read these:

unable to remove partially installed v. 2.4

Error 1714. The older version of OpenOffice 2.3 cannot be removed.
