Bibus can't listen to Writer on XP

Hi there.

I am running Openoffice 2.4.1, with JRE 6 update 6 on a WinXp sp2 computer. I want to install Bibus to write my project.

Following the instrution as in http://bibus-biblio.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Installation , I couldn't let Bibus listen to Openoffice. After I searched the forum, some methods were suggested to upgrade or downgrade python slite's version. I tried ver 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 but still doesn't work. (The installer I downloaded was bibus-1.4.3-3-Win32-Full-Setup.exe)

Bibus can be opened; however, a error message pop-out whenever I want to insert citation or go to writer. Oh, I've processed the Connection Wizard quite a few times. And nothing wrong occur during the process. Can anyone give me some hints? Thanks.
