I have an Excel spreadsheet that has some cells open to input and the others locked. When I try and input data into the correct areas, I get a message that the document is read only (it even shows that message on the upper bar when opening the document).
I've tried to uncheck the read only box in properties but it says I don't have access to do it. What should be my next step? Also, I'm using XP if that matters.
Thanks for any and all help! |

Update:
Microsoft Excel users can input the data so something's up with Calc. |

Fixed:
I copied the program to my hard drive and it works fine. It just wouldn't work off of the CD. |

I'm glad you found the solution, but for future reference you can write only to R/W CDs.
