|
|
Hi all
I'm sorry to ask such a dumb question but I have found no answer after many searchs & trials ...
I need to insert IPA (phonetic) characters into an OO document.
I have the Unicode numbers (for instance, 0254 for "open o") and I have a font that should nicely support them (Doulos SIL).
I use a portable Windows PC without numeric pad, so I must do Maj + &,é,",',(,- ... to have the numbers.
I tried Alt+Maj+Maj+é(', AltGr+Maj+é(', Alt+Win+Maj+é(', AltGr+Win+Maj+é(' ... to no success.
Would anyone have a clue on how to do this ?
Alternatively, I must use the insert / special characters menu, but I can't quickly type the unicode number (I have to look for the character ...)
thanks a lot

Thank a lot !
I've recorded macros and assigned them to roughly 20 keys, and it's working fine.
[I can share the macros, if anyone is interested ...]
