Possibly, possibly not. The file may be quite corrupt, or the initial file structure might have suffered a minor change. That is; it might be major or it might be minor. To sort out such a problem depends upon the depth of the problem and programming experience. If the file is corrupt, it's usually, and for all intents and purposes, gone bye-bye. After going on 30 years working with computers I've had entire disks go the same route, as well as individual files. And I have brought some back through Hex editing ...but infrequently. Sorry, but that happens sometimes.
