and

give me the same error - program crash
win98se on a Pentium166 (!) machine

Hi
I have experienced the first one. Supposedly fixed in OOo build 644_M7 but doesn't seem to have been fixed on my version. Can't say about the 2nd as I'm in Linux right now, but neither seem to happen on that so the seem 2B Windows-specific.
Will come back next time I'm in Windows on your second point if no-one has answered in the meantime.

I know the first one is a known bug and they are working on it. I haven't heard of the second one, but I would wait for the next version to come out and see if it is fixed.
It only occurs on Win98 machines.

The second one has also been reported to and acknowlegded by them what fixes things.
