OK, I hosted the file but wanted to note a few things.

I deleted any spaces around the numbering because they were not consistent. If you use spaces or tab they shrink or expand to fit because of the "justified" style.

That's because the numbering and spaces have been inserted manually instead of using a numbering style. They're part of the body of the paragraph and will expand or shrink with the rest of the paragraph. Use a numbering style to apply the numbering and space. The space following the number will then not expand or shrink.

What are you trying to indent? The first line? The whole paragraph? Select paragraphs? All paragraphs? Indents should be set in the paragraph style, not by using tabs. You should create a custom paragraph style which defines the indents and apply that paragraph style to the paragraph instead of trying to directly indent each paragraph separately.

Any numbering, list or paragraph style changes that I made should not have been saved. I don't think I saved after my failed attempts.

The paragraph under "ARTICLE IV - REVOCABILITY" is spaced differently than the paragraph above it. It is not double spaced. I need all text to be spaced like the text under "W I T N E S S E T H:" I did fix a few of them by deleting the space between two paragraphs and then spacing them back out.

Some paragraphs have a "fixed of .25in" or "fixed of .24in" line spacing. Others have a "single" line spacing. All paragraphs are using the Default paragraph style instead of a custom paragraph style. This problem could be eliminated by removing the direct modifications, defining a custom paragraph style which has the proper line spacing, and applying that custom paragraph style.

Page margins are set in the page style. Select Format > Page to open the Page Style dialog.

Insert > Fields > Page Number. If you want the page numbers to appear in a header or footer, turn on the header or footer in the page style. The page number field can then be inserted in the header or footer.

Yes, I have used a numbering style earlier and got this space to stay consistent. I was just explaining why the page looked like it did, I only left the manually entered numbers to show the desired numbering assuming that someone may go ahead and number the paragraphs accordingly.

This is why I was stating that it would be beneficial to include the PDF as an example of what I was looking for, but it has personal info so I would only send it to one person. I want the first line of EVERY paragraph to be indented about 3/4" to 1". If the paragraph is numbered, I want the number indented with the first line, this is in addition to any spacing between the number and the text. Again, I know that tabs do not work, that's why I removed them. In an earlier post, I stated that I got pretty close to the desired results, the only problem was that I could not indent the number well beyond the text without affecting the text under it. I have used the "paragraph style" options, as suggested by others, without complete success. It may be something I'm doing wrong, I hosted the file to remove that variable. I hosted the file without these changes to give you a clean slate to start with, without any changes that I have made and that could cause problems or confusion, this is basically how it came out after being copied and pasted.

Yes, no custom paragraph styles because I wanted a clean slate, these are just copied and pasted directly from the PDF. I looked for the option to changed the settings, but I didn't know exactly what settings to look for. So, exactly what settings do I need to change in the "paragraph style" options box to get the desired spacing? The best way to apply the paragraph custom paragraph style?

Yes, got it, thank you. I did have one paragraph that wouldn't conform, though. Any idea what the problem is?

Got it, thanks for your help. Still don't have the numbering and spacing worked out, though.

Before changing any settings in the "paragraph style" options, you have to create a new paragraph style for each uniquely formatted paragraph and apply the new paragraph styles to the appropriate paragraphs. Since every paragraph currently uses the Default paragraph style, right-clicking and selecting Edit Paragraph Style will open the Paragraph Style dialog for the Default paragraph style, and any changes made in the "paragraph style" options will change the Default paragraph style which will change every paragraph in the document.

To create new paragraph styles, first open the Styles and Formatting window (F11) and click the Paragraph Styles icon near the top of the window. Click in a paragraph then click the New Style from Selection icon in the Styles and Formatting window. Name the new style on the Create Style dialog and click OK to close the dialog. The new style should now appear in the Apply Styles box on the Formatting toolbar and in the list of paragraph styles in the Styles and Formatting window. If you have numbered and unnumbered paragraphs which have the same formatting except for the numbering, create one paragraph style for the unnumbered paragraphs and a second paragraph style for the numbered paragraphs. The new style can then be applied to other paragraphs by clicking in the paragraph then clicking the style in the Apply Styles box. After you've created and applied the paragraph styles, the line spacing, indents, fonts, etc for each paragraph should be correct.

For the numbering, modify one of the standard numbering styles such as Numbering 1. The document has three levels of numbering, so the first three levels of the numbering style should be modified and used. The paragraph styles of the numbered paragraphs should then be modified to use the numbering style (see the Numbering tab of the Paragraph style dialog). After modifying the paragraph styles, automatic numbering should appear on all numbered paragraphs, but some of the numbered paragraphs will have to be selected and demoted to the correct numbering level.

I FINALLY got the chance to try again and most of the major problems have been solved! Two simple questions and I'm done.

Two of the paragraphs are not indenting right, the indent is being applied to the centered title above them. So the title will be moved right of center and the text below it will not have an indention at all. How do I keep the title above the paragraphs from being considered the first line and being indented?

The text that I paste from the PDF is in the font "TimesNewRomanPS-BoldMT", but this is not an available font. Do you know what the "PS-BoldMT" means and how I can achieve the same look?

It sounds like you have a line break not a paragraph break there. If so removing it and replacing it with a paragraph break will do what you want.

This appears to be a specific font that probably does not come with most systems. You probably need to install it specially. See http://www.linotype.com/159469/timesnewromanpsbold-font.html

Great! Thanks everybody! It's nice to know that people will still go out of their way to help others. Got everything just about squared away, I can't believe fonts cost so much! This one font costs $30?! I'll have to pass or look for an alternative.
