To change the colour of text in Draw, I have to double click, select text by dragging the cursor and then change font or colour. Can't we do it easier?
This is a real problem when one has goofed on the font for multiple text frames. You have to enter each one, select and then format. Isnt there a shift+click way. (Fingers crossed.....) |

| Draw and Impress in OOo actually also force you quite a bit to work with styles, although I feel this is not always comfortable in this context. Anyway, as soon as you have several text entries that should be formatted the same, then create a style from one and apply that to the other items. Anyway, what I observe now is that you can just click the object containing text and change font size and color using the tool bar. You can also select multiple objects (a rectangle and a circle with text, for example), and have the font and color changed using Format Character, just like it outha be. Is this an improvement in 1.1 over version 1.0 or did I never notice? Reubina, what's your version number? |
