Hi all,

I'd like to export an OO Calc chart to pdf, but just the chart, not the full page. The reason for that is that I want to include it as a figure in a latex document. So is there a way to do that? Of course I could do a screen capture, but that sorta defeats the purpose of vector graphics, doesn't it?

I'm not sure what you mean by a "Latex document". I know Latex can be used to put math onto a website. Can you copy/paste? It will copy/paste nicely into Writer, for example.

David.

latex is a typesetting system used to produce high quality documents. I use pdflatex to typeset scientific articles.

Can you copy it to draw and save in a vector format from there?

No luck. Draw still saves a full page PDF, even when I check the "export selection" box.
