| I am an OOo newcomer and I'd principally like to use Base as an alternative to MS Access. But I can't get Base to work as indicated in the tutorials and I'm wondering if this is a Java problem. It is the Form application that doesn't work. I am running Java version 6 Update 7 (build 1.6.0_07-b06), which seems to run OK otherwise. The Java RTE seems to be recognised in the OOo options. Is there another reason why Base isn't working? I have uninstalled and reinstalled and even re-downloaded the whole programme, but nothing changes. What's going wrong? |
