I don't have a darn thing on my profile. Nothing that would give anyone reason to be interested. This user has no posts, so this stinks of spam. -- possibly after several exchanges, pulling the Nigerian thing, which someone else tried on me at another site. Please investigate and act accordingly. Thank you.
btw, the broken English is another dead give-away for an alleged UK resident. |

Thank you for your prompt action.
EDIT:
I noticed that this topic and this topic were marked as spam by Superuser sliderule, which they most certainly are. Note the advertising links in the bottom of the posts.
They should be deleted, because this is a common way of getting one's site raised in the search engine listings, as web crawlers go around and count the number of sites on which a link appears. It's a well-known technique for doing this. Please don't let them get away with it.
I would respectfully suggest that all such posts (containing links for advertising purposes) be deleted immediately, and the users either warned or banned. Many forums have this policy.
Keep up the good work. |
