The licensing conditions and patents information are included in the licenses folder in OpenOffice.org's installation directory. According to http://www.openoffice.org/license.html,
Quote:
Effective OpenOffice.org 3.0 Beta, OpenOffice.org will use the LGPL v3.
A link to patent information in the GPL v3 can be found on-line at:http://www.opensource.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html#section11. The LGPL v3 incorporates the terms of the GPL v3 and adds some provisions. This information is available on-line at: http://www.opensource.org/licenses/lgpl-3.0.html.
