document recovery

Apparently I had a document that hadn't been recovered so everytime I open Open office, I get that little pop up to recover the document. When I go to do it, it says it cannot be recovered. That document is long gone and I don't care that it hasn't been recovered. Is there anyway I can make it stop wanting to recover the document?
