If I use a certain font, is there any way to be sure that font will carry over when I give a presentation at a conference where I can't install fonts or make sure they have the ones I use?
For what it's worth, I never download and install fonts. I only use what came with Windows or whatever programs I've installed provided. But Window Vistas has fonts not found in XP and vice versa.
I guess there probably isn't a way to do so, and maybe this is more of a wishlist type of request: either an option to bundle the font with the file and use it only for the given Impress/.ppt file (or is that a potential copyright breaker?) or a way to save all/selected slides (and each animation) as .jpgs? I know I could make each slide in a paint program if I really wanted to, but could there be an option within Impress to automatically convert a range of slides to graphic files?
Or, and perhaps this is more workable, is there a way to specify alternate fonts if the one I use is not available? |

The only way I can think of to ensure the fonts stay the same is to save the presentation as PDF, but then you'll lose your custom animations, sound, video, etc.
Using more or less standard fonts is another way. |

Thanks. Problem is, all I want is a handwriting font, but Window Vista and XP don't have a common one. |
