|

When importing a ppt presentation into impress, I wondered what happened to my animation. I have a slide where several (about 15) different images show up one after another. This should work automatically with just one click as it does in ppt. In OO I have to click for each image to appear, not very comfortable... The only option I found out yet is to group the images and let them appear all 12 by one click. But this is not what I had in mind - it must be possible to run several effects in one slide one after another without clicking and clicking each time one effect is completed to start the next. Another example - I have text sliding in from left and a graphic fading from centre - this should happen simultaneously or at least in a row without having to click inbetween! Anyone has a hint?
Thanks!! |

Unfortunately, this is a missing feature in Impress. It is a pitty, because having a sequence of animations on one click allows for very interesting and didactic animations. This actually has been filed as an issue, but it seems not much has been done with it in the meantime.
See http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=19389
I suggest you register yourself on http://www.openoffice.org/. Then you can eventually vote for issues that you care for. |
