Can a macro find checkboxes on a spreadsheet?

Can a macro discover whether there are any checkboxes on a spreadsheet and list them?

I have a macro which is invoked from a checkbox but it needs to know the relative position of any other checkboxes before it performs its action.

Can it find them and list them if they are there?
