I working on a large document done in two columns, but I have several tables that are wide enough I need to stretch them across the entire page, but aren't long enough to need their own page, and they really need to be at specific areas of the document.
Is there a way to create a table like that?
Another question about formatting. Is there a way to wrap text around a small table?
It is also trying to auto format numbers I put in as dates, for example 10-30, ends up 10/30/09. I need to find out why this is happening and how to stop it.
I apologize if any of these have already been covered, but I haven't been able to find them yet. |

Q1. Your basic document needs to be one column then Insert > Section for what needs to be two columns.
Q2. Insert a Frame and put the table in the frame. You can adjust the type of Wrap for the frame.
Q3. Right click selected cell(s), > Number Format > Date with the Format Code box set to MM-DD. |

In the same set of options for number formatting you can also turn number formatting off. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
