I would like to know if there is a way to hide the quick launch icon in the system tray. Using OOo 1.1.1 on Windows 2000 Pro. I don't like to have a lot of icons showing in my tray but would still like to use the quick launch function.

So you want to have the quicklauncher somewhere on your Desktop, but not in the system tray. Do I understand you right?
If that's the case I doubt you can do that.
Maybe you should make your list of icons in the system tray smaller, I only have about 2-4 icons in there (all the time).
