Hi

I'm using base forms to display details of sales by customer by product.

I have 3 tables - customer, product and invoice details.

The customer table is the main form. The sub form is the invoice table. I would like to add the product description to the sub form.

How can I do this? Where can I find this documentation?

Many thanks

Teresa

in the form design toolbar, click on the form navigator button. this will show a tree with all your forms [Forms] being the top node. right-click on any node to insert a new form, bind to table, and set up slave/master fields from data tab of properties dialog (for those forms whose parent is another form).

Hi

Thanks for your speedy response. I am now able to display the description for an individual line BUT if i use the subForm_Grid I loose the description again. I could use a query to incorporate that field but is that the only solution. Also where can i find the property for the type of subForm ie grid.

Many thanks

Teresa
