|
|
I am just a beginner, and have been using Report Wizard to create reports. I downloaded Sun Report Builder to be able to do some math in my reports. However, when I now go to reports and click that I want to create a report using the Wizard, it is gone! It defaults to the Create in Design View, just as if I clicked on Create in Design View.
I am looking for help in how to restore the Report Wizard functionality.
I did an update to 3.0.1Build 9379, hoping that my solve my problem, but not.
Any and all help is appreciated. _________________ Denny Maunder |

Same problem - Winsows XP and installed 2.x, 3.0 and the 3.01 and on top Sun Rpp Builder extension.
Old fashion 3.01 repport wizard function callz now Sun Rep Builder.
I suppose I need to unistall the Sun extension to recover the old repport wizard.

As far as I can remember, my history the same as previous poster....
Certainly Win XP
Think I started wit OO 2.x on the machine in question, now own OO 3.0.0
Not sure at what stage I installed Sun's Report Builder... a while ago, in any case...
BUT! >>>
I have access both to SRB and "old fashioned", "built in" report wizard.... (but why do I want it, anyway?)
I simply click on "Reports" in the "Database" pane of the ooBase main project manager window, and that gives me "Create report in design view" (SRB) and "Use Wizard..." (old wizard) in the "Tasks" pane. |

|

One reason to start with : Chinese caracter set will not have sizeable fonts. All chinese fonts are blocked in 12 dpi. Occidental fonts are not (20, 40, 80 dpi.... possible).
If someone can tell me where to repport the bug, I shall certainely do so.
An other reason is conditionnal page break.
If someone knows how to remove left margin headers (titles) when line is empty (no data in base for that reccord), pls let me know.

I have had the same problem - the sun report builder works fine on Kubuntu8.04 and ooo3 but not on a clean install of ooo3 on winXP.
Did anyone find a solution to this? |

| When I click on Report Wizard, the Sun Report Builder opens up. I disabled the Sun Report Builder through the extension manager but it still opens up. Does anyone know how to get the Report Wizard to work again? WinXP |
