I've been putting together a large book in a single OpenOffice document from pieces written in WordPerfect or scanned in with OCR. However, it appears that there are, for lack of a better term, disjointed sections that are messing with formatting. I am not able to format the entire document, but must format each 'section' individually. I have had to format the page margins, line spacing, and headers/footers of each disjointed piece.

The only thing I've found that says there are different pieces of the document is under Insert->Header and Footer where it lists: 'default', and then additional listings called: 'Convert 1', 'Convert 2', ..., where these 'Convert 1' are different sections of the document.

Is there something I can do to merge these 'converted' sections together so that I can format the entire document at once?
