I'm able to make an ODBC connection to a FileMaker file on my W2K machine. All works well but...
1. The Carriage returns within a field in Filemaker come across as musical note in Writer rather than as carriage returns. Is there a way of dealing with that kind of conversion problem?
2. When I merge to a file as output the text in a field stays as a field so that it is not editable. Is this a feature or a bug? I'd like to be able to make changes when it's output to a file. Is there a way of making the conversion?
3. My version of OO is 1.1beta - it doesn't have the option to mailmerge to EMail. Is that generally true or is it specific only to this beta version?
