It doesn't matter which one you click, these are just different 'mirrors' but they lead to the same file.
There are no different US versions of OpenOffice, there is only one which can be downloaded from several sites. _________________ - Knowledge is Power - |

OpenOffice.org is a very large download. The idea behind providing multiple links for download is so that you can download it form a site close to you that you have good connectivity with.
For example, if you are in, say, Japan, you don't wan't to download from a site in the eastern US. This would place an unnecessary burden on parts of the internet that interconnect various continents.
Another reason to have many mirrors is so that no single mirror site bears the burden of providing OOo to everyone on the planet who wants to download it. _________________ Want to make OOo Drawings like the colored flower design to the left? |
