Hello,
You all have been such a help in the past and I have another question to ask. I have a couple calculated fields within a query. I need to know how to then turn those calculated fields so they will be displayed as dollars, percents, etc. If it's not quite clear yet I'll use this screenshot.

So in that picture (of a query) I'd like to make the fuel percentage in percent format, and make Net Revenue, Fuel Cost, Gross Revenue, and Fuel Rate all to currency format. All of them are the right number, just need $ and % signs. Basically all I want is in the report for all the field to display in the corresponding format whether it be %, $, or whatever. Any ideas how to do this will be greatly appreciated. I know you guys take time out of your day to help me and I love you a lot for it.

P.S. I understand that when i change fuel percentage into percent format I may need to make it 0.1218 instead of 12.18 for example. I know how to do that and all I need to do i remove * 100 from the calculated field.

This seems to work temporarily. However, as soon as I exit from the edit view and go to the query or to the reports all turns back to the way it was before. How do I save the settings so they stay that way?

Once you have the Query formatted as you need, be sure to SAVE it before closing the Query. Also, you will want to save the OpenOffice database file . . . because it contains the Query in it ( including your user defined formats ).

I hope this helps, please be sure to let me us know.
