| when i use =NOW() the date doesnt show up on in cell. the only thing that shows up is ###. does anyone know what i am doing wrong? |

| Increase the horizontal size of the cell. ### means the cell can't display the number in it. |

| You mention needing the date. If that's all you need, using the TODAY() function may be better (for matching date when searching/comparing). If you need to mark time of day too, continue using NOW(). |
