Messing w/this for HOURS!!! [SOLVED]

I have never used Base or other db programs before but can follow instructions well. I have read a few tutorials, but all are more advanced than what I need. OK here goes:

I want to have a VERY simple db. I want to alphabetize my collection of movies. I have created a table with one field for the titles which is all I need. I created a form with the same ONE field with the Form wiz but it won't let me input any more movies. Lastly, I was able to format my report to display in 3 columns to try to keep the printing down to 1 or 2 pages however it doesn't seem to update when I update the table(it won't let me do that anymore either btw) and yes I told the report wiz to make it dynamic. Everything keeps wanting to open as Read-only. What am I missing? I am not usually the whiny new guy who just wants someone else to do all the work (I hate those guys) but I don't know where else to turn. Sad
