|
|
| Hi. Calc highlights hyperlinks. When creating a long list of hyperlinks (underlines removed), the highlighting creates a long unsightly swath down the page. Is there any way to remove the highlighting (and underlining) in Calc without destroying the hyperlink? This is not a problem in Excel. Thanks, Sucata. |

| I think the best you can do is go to Tools > Options > OOo > Appearance and set Visited and Unvisited Links to white which will affect all applications. |

| Thanks, John. I tried that before posting this inquiry but it failed to remove the highlighting that Calc ADDED when I imported an Excel spreadsheet (which did NOT have the highlighting). Guess I'll just have to stick with Excel until the capability to control this feature is added to Calc. Regards, Sucata |

Guess you'll never ever manage to use anything else. _________________ Rest in peace, oooforum.org

Sucata:
I had the same problem with the highlighted hyperlinks.
Experimenting with the options JohnV advised, I think he meant to say:
Tools>Options>Appearance>Set Field Shadings to White
This worked for me, for both new links and Excel imported ones.
I'd also like to see a color in the options called 'Transparent' because some of my links were in cells having a green or yellow background, so this still looks a bit messy. |
